We offer highly experienced professional Air Transport and Commercial Pilots with extensive experience in Commercial, Airline or Flight Instruction operations. Our team of independent experienced instructors are dedicated to teaching you what you need to know to be knowledgeable, safe and comfortable flying aircraft in today’s complex aviation world. Rachel Palmer AGI


Professional Aviation Resources was designed, developed and founded by Rachel along with her husband Robert as a family run business. Rachel is an Advanced Ground Instructor and is responsible for setting strategic directions and managing growth of airplanes, flight instructors, flight operations, aircraft maintenance tracking, scheduling, billing, website and PAR I.T. Rachel acts as a liaison for clients and flight instructors, making sure the lines of communication always remain open. She is dedicated to maintain quality customer service and prior to her ownership position at Professional Aviation Resources; she worked numerous years in senior management positions.

Captain Robert Palmer ATP, CFI-A, II, MEI, CSIP

Vice President/Chief Pilot

Professional Aviation Resources was founded by Robert along with his wife Rachel as a family run business.

Robert is an active Regional Airline Captain, FAA Part 142 TCLE and Line Check Airman and is also our Chief Pilot and Flight Instructor. He is responsible for the operations of Professional Aviation Resources and our training programs as well as supervising our Flight Instructors. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating, Type ratings in the CRJ-200, 700, and 900, a Certified Flight Instructor Rating with Airplane Single and Multi Engine Land and Instrument Instructor ratings with over 17,000 hours of total flight time. Robert has over twenty five years flying experience in multiple organizations from part 61 flight training providers, college and private aviation academies and the airlines, Robert provides a wealth of experience and knowledge to our operations. Robert has extensive experience with Technically Advanced, High Performance and Turbine Aircraft to include Cirrus, Bombardier, Embraer, and many others. He is one of the highest total flight time Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilots in the United States.

Jamie Chitko CSMEL, CFI-A, II

Jamie holds a commercial flight instructor pilot certificate with an instrument rating (CFII) and is also rated for commercial multi-engine land aircraft. An active CFI since 2002, Jamie has a 95% student first time pass rate for all of his students. He has BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, a Masters in Systems Engineering, and is a graduate of the United States Naval Test Pilot School. As a designated Naval Flight Officer, he has flown and tested over 25 different types of aircraft to include tactical jets, multi-engine props, helicopters, taildraggers and gliders. He is also a Crew Resource Management (CRM) Facilitator that stresses and teaches the optimum use of all resources, aircraft systems knowledge, risk management, and how to improve cockpit decision making skills, for both single and multi-pilot operations. Jamie has a passion for teaching and passing his aviation knowledge to his students and fellow aviators.

Joe has been flying as a pilot for over 20 years. He has over 1900 hours and holds an Airline Transport Pilot Multi-Engine Land certificate with Commercial Pilot Single Engine Land privileges. He has over 1300 hours dual given as a CFI, CFI-I, and MEI. His love for flying came from his time in the U.S. Air Force where he flew as a communications specialist for 20 years on missions throughout the world. This military experienced taught him the value of CRM, crew coordination, and checklist usage. He is a graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics and a minor in aviation safety. Currently he works as a project engineer overseeing aircraft communication system modification, integration, and test. When not working his full time job, he provides professional, high quality flight training and pilot services with the same enthusiasm he had on his first flight.

Andy Hollingsworth ATP, CFI-A, II, MEI

Andy's dream of flying professionally began in west Texas as a young airplane enthusiast. He worked at the local airport fueling and washing airplanes. With newly earned ratings in hand, Andy began instructing during the day and flying freight at night. He went on to fly for Atlantic Southeast Airlines before getting hired to fly Gulfstream III's and IV's to many destinations around the globe. This experience led to part time work at Simuflite as a G-IV instructor. Andy now fly’s 787s for a major airline. His heart is still in general aviation where he regularly instructs in a variety of light aircraft. He holds the following ratings ATP B787, DC-9, G1159, G-IV, EMB-110, CFI, CFII, MEI.

Andrew Hollingsworth

Leo Kitaychik ATP, CFI-A, CFII, MEI

Leo started flying at the age of 16 and worked his way up to his flight instructor credentials by 19. While attending college, he studied abroad and traveled throughout Europe. Travel is in his DNA. Upon returning stateside, he started working as a flight instructor and went on to being a pilot at a regional airline. Since then, his experience has taken him into corporate international jet flying and international cargo airlines. Leo comes with a lot of interesting experience and amazing stories to share with his students.


Harrison Matteau ATP, CFI, IGI

Harrison is a current pilot for Delta Private Jets on the Citation XLS+, he is a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in aviation sciences and has been involved in several types of professional flying including corporate, charter, sky diving, surveying, and instruction. He has recently moved to Dallas from his old home in Nashville Tennessee and plans to remain in the area long term. He currently holds his ATP, CFI, IGI with plans to soon add his CFI-I and MEI and currently has over 2,000 hours.


Professional Aviation Resources Independent Team Instructors have extensive experience giving flight and ground instruction with numerous awards amongst them, and they are members of the National Association of Flight Instructors and many other professional organizations. All of our Instructors attend continuing education to stay on the cutting edge of the next generation technology we fly today.
